Taylor & Steven Wintery E-Session

It turns out when you want to schedule an engagement session in the snow, Alberta does its level best to mess with you.  We had no idea what to expect weather-wise for this shoot and it turned out gorgeously snowy but really COLD.

Taylor and Steven were fantastically patient and flexible.  We tried to work quickly and keep warm in between shots but it doesn’t always work out that way.  (Big thanks to Holly for being our blanket/jackets/gear lady!)  Despite needing to warm up all evening afterwards, I was so excited about these shots.  Taylor and Steven had suggested the J.J. Collett natural area for photos and it was absolutely gorgeous.  I love that place!  All year round!

If these two can be completely chilled and still look so natural, I can’t wait to collaborate with them this September on their wedding day.  Cross your fingers for hot, sunny weather.  They deserve it.
