Natasha and Ryan are a sweet couple with a shared love of books and more books. Months ago over coffee, Natasha excitedly requested that we hold their session at Chapters here in Red Deer and I jumped at the chance. (Thanks so much to Chapters for the permission to shoot in your beautiful store!) We followed this up with a walk on the local trails, just like on Natasha and Ryan’s first date. It’s safe to say that date went well, even if it took a little while for the feelings to really catch. Thankfully, they eventually went on a second date, then many more, and here we are!
Throughout this shoot, I saw that Ryan truly adores fiancee. He did little things that I doubt were meant to be noticed. He’s a jokester and for every joke, he checked Natasha’s reaction first. He put her comfort before his own each time I asked them to sit on a log or in a patch of dry grass. (It’s not always/usually as comfortable as it appears.) He went out of his way to walk on the outside of the sidewalk lining the street. As a gentleman, he has my respect.
I am so glad for the chance to get to know you two better because the months before your wedding are zipping by. I can’t wait to see it all come together. Lots of luck with the rest of the planning and I hope these portraits of a bookworm romance were everything you imagined.
