Roze & Cody, Rural Ponoka E-Session

For their engagement session, Roze and Cody headed back to the exact same piece of heaven out in the country where he first proposed.  At that time, he and Roze had gone out for a walk and he convinced her to go check out a small wooden shelter on a hill.  She had no clue what was coming.  She found the words “Turn around” carved into the wooden slats and when she did, she found Cody there on his knee.

As proposal stories go, this one is amazing.

After several years together, these two are completely comfortable being goofy together.  They didn’t question anything I asked them to do and it resulted in enormous laughs – the squeeze your eyes tight and throw back your head kind of laughs.  We now have inside jokes.  Like “cheesecake.”

Apparently, Cody was supposed to wear black to the session as he’s “in mourning” now that he’s getting married.  I’d say he’s the furthest thing from it.

In just a few short months, they’ll be getting married overlooking an amazing mountain view.  I can’t wait!
