Looking at the snow and chill in the air now, it’s hard to believe that it was such a hot sunny day only two months ago. Miranda and Wade picked the perfect day for a cozy backyard wedding ceremony. We used to play on the swing set and pick apples in that backyard when we were skinny little kids, and I love the thought of going back and telling my little kid self that Miranda would someday get married on that very spot.
Now these two are Halloween lovers and complete nerds, so their wedding wasn’t complete without some spooky decor and Zelda themed details. I loved it. They even had Zelda game images displayed behind the dance floor, provided by the fantastic TJ the DJ. (Speaking of wonderful vendors, the gorgeous boutonnieres and bouquets were provided by The Fresh Vase, just in case you’d like to see more.)
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again – Miranda, my dear cousin, you have grown up into a such a sweet person and found a wonderful man who adores you. We’re all grown up now. How cool is that?!
I had a fantastic time and it was hard to leave all you crazy people at the end of the night. Thank you for including me in your big day and trusting me to run free with all your nerdy details.
