Beautiful Lisa

This amaaaaazing session was held on the most beautiful night imaginable at the most beautiful location imaginable.  And my model?  I’m speechless.  Lisa accompanied myself and my assistant, Krista (whom you may recognize from past sessions), to All About the Setting near Innisfail.  Essentially, we spent the evening just playing with every backdrop we could squeeze into our time there and I still feel like we barely scratched the surface of what we could have done.

Sadly, All About the Setting will be closing as of this fall so, photographers, if you’re looking for the perfect location, check it out while you still can!

Lisa is this vibrant, beautiful young woman.  We met last year over crab rangoons and while that sounds almost like a magical moment, she was actually my waitress.  I had to get her in front of my lens.

This photo was just crying out for a soft, matte, artsy finish.My favourite.My other favourite.  I lied.With proper makeup application (provided by the amazing Alison), next to no editing is needed to give Lisa that beautiful glow.Just in case you’re ever wondering what a session with One Bright Day is like…we don’t take ourselves very seriously.
