Jess is my amazing friend. She’s in the middle of a transition in her life – graduating university, getting her own place, and returning to her musical roots. She’s busy. We took some time to slow down and celebrate who she is becoming. I hope that someday, she looks at these photos and sits with her memories for a while – the joy of passing her final exams, the need to squirrel away kitchen cookware and towels for the new place, and sitting around a campfire with friends and family to toast to new beginnings.
She brought her guitar.

The final impression of this beautiful woman that I’ll leave you with is her appearance at the Ponoka Stampede Talent Show…for the how-manyeth year in a row. Fantastic show! It was amazing to watch her up on that stage, in her element.
