Jacki and Dylan’s engagement session ended up on a beautiful, sunshiny weekend that melted most of the surprise snow we’d had. This farmyard was filled with fantastic, weathered buildings, elk, chickens, and bison. It was a photographer’s dream come true.
From our first coffee together, Jacki and Dylan proved to have strong personalities that suit each other just right. Dylan is full of piss and vinegar. Jacki laughingly scolded him more than once and he just grinned to himself. Jacki is funny, confident, and absolutely beautiful.
Like I told Jacki, this was probably the first and only time I will ever get to photograph elk during an engagement session. We caught the sun as it was coming down and the resulting images were incredible.
