Shannon and Allison were looking for engagement photos in Alberta and excitedly told me all about their plans to marry out of province soon. Now that the session is over, I’m sad that I won’t be there for their wedding day. This was a wonderful afternoon with two easy-going, ridiculously good-looking people. Shannon’s quick sense of humour is as charming as Allison is sweet.
We met at Sweet Capone’s in downtown Lacombe to start with some hot lattes before heading out into the chilly air. This place and that light is a photographer’s dream. Thank you so much to the staff at Sweet Capone’s for welcoming us in. We loved it.
We had been having some windy days here in Lacombe but somehow, Allison and Shannon managed to find the few patches of fall colour left out there. They wandered the trails, played in the leaves, and cuddled. I also want to point out – the colour theme was strong throughout the afternoon with all of the orange, yellow, and burgundy.
While I won’t be privileged to see you two say “I do,” I’m confident that your big day will turn out wonderfully and that you’ll enjoy every minute together. I loved hearing your stories and it’s amazing that you’ve each come from so far away just to find each other. That’s a good love story!.png)
