Lindsay & Nick Snowy Autumn E-Session at Abraham Lake

Nick and Lindsay have worked hard to make their relationship work, from long-distance to moving across the country to be together.  They love the outdoors and have so many good memories at Abraham Lake, so we headed there on the coldest, snowiest weekend of September.  I wasn’t sure what to expect as we drove in but we were greeted by the most beautiful scene.  The lake water was a crystal clear blue, the pines were blanketed in snow, and what leaves were still clinging to the trees were on fire with colour.

Amazing.

And so, so cold.  These two toughed it out and the resulting photos were worth it.

Lindsay told me from the start that they love to laugh together and there was plenty of laughter amidst the shivering and red hands.  As hockey fanatics, Nick surprised Lindsay with a hockey stick for her sign with her name-to-be to match his own.  Hockey and romance!  Who knew!?  I loved it.

Cheers to next fall and more of Lindsay and Nick on their wedding day!  Cross your fingers for warm weather.
