Taylor and Steven had an absolutely gorgeous day, despite the chilly weather. They and their bridal party toughed it out and had a fantastic time, especially during our frequent breaks warming up in the greenhouse at Wolf’s Botanical Garden near Lacombe. (Fantastic venue, by the way, and so kind of them to keep their greenhouse open and warm for us.)
This was a wedding filled with pretty details, from the grey and lavender colour theme to the pearl necklaces each of the bridesmaids wore. Details like these go perfectly with a garden wedding.
You can easily tell in the images that Taylor’s father adores her and appeared to be having a hard time walking her down the aisle to give her away to another man. Not that Steven isn’t a great guy. He really is and you can see how much he loves Taylor as well. These two didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits at their wintery engagement session or on their wedding day. They’re excellent at just enjoying each other’s company and keeping an optimistic outlook no matter what. That’s a virtue worth marrying for.
I know that the day wasn’t exactly what we expected or planned for but I completely enjoyed myself anyways. Thank you both (and your families) for being so cheerful, thoughtful, generous, and a host of other wonderful qualities.
